The MacKenzie opened in 2008 with excellent reviews! Our guests love the personal library and ambience of the little fireplace. The room is named after the MacKenzie Mountain which famously overlooks Pleasant Bay. It features a double bed (Serta Mattress), dresser, table & chairs, electric fire place and satellite television with DVD player. The MacKenzie also has a private bathroom with a large glass shower, toilet, pedestal sink. and cupboard closet.

Spend some time browsing through the MacKenzie library with a glass of wine or country ice water. Enjoy some quality time with your companion and/or family and friends as you discuss the day's events and the promise of good food and conversation to follow. As with all our suites, Anna offers everyone a complimentary evening dessert which is served in our informal dining room at 9pm– although you may not want to leave the comforts of the MacKenzie, you will find the delicious culinary delights and the company of our well travelled guests well worth it.

At $115.00 per night for two (plus tax), the MacKenzie is booked almost as much as the Grande Anse. If our pride and joy is what you seek, reserve today! A cot is available for $15 per extra person. Reserve today! Don't forget your bathing suits! We have a large outdoor pool, two decks and six-person outdoor hot tub!

Our rooms include passes to the Whale Interpretive Centre and evening dessert at 9pm (a favorite time for all our guests). A delicious multi-course breakfast is served every morning. Please note that the museum passes are available during their open season which runs from June 1st to October 15th.

We ask that you call or check in by 6pm but this is just a double confirmation to insure that both parties get the reservation and place right for that night. This is very flexible and you can arrive whenever you like as long as I know that you are coming. Note that we have several payment options. However, because of the high credit card processing charges, we prefer cash or debit. Note that we will gladly accommodate the three major credit cards if necessary: VISA M/C AMEX
